This passion project was fueled after receiving an embarrassing amount of parking tickets.
I built, coded and prototyped a product that actually helps people. I designed the UX/UI for the connected app and introduced a new system infrastructure.

  • Result in vehicle boot and tow

  • Be taken out of your tax refund.

PARKING METERS ARE INEFFICIENT...

  • Outdated technology has led to frequent breakdowns.

  • Require technicians and expensive government resources that most cities lack.

  • Need daily onsite workers to keep machines updated.

GIVING THE POWER TO THE USER
Curb eliminates time restrictions and introduces a system that holds people accountable. Users can opt to pay a slightly higher fee after the 2 hour limit.

PARK, START AND GO.

Press start or set timer to begin parking session.
Remotely add time to parking session.
Meter automatically stops when vehicle is in motion.
Receive Notifications Alerts:
    - When time is running low
    - Approaching street parking limit (see below)
    - Zoning updates (Construction, holidays, etc.)

Curb's automatic process reduces frustrations associated with meter parking stations. And, most importantly eliminates time and money spent updated a tired system.

Yeah, this was fun and all, but never will I ever try multiplexing in javascript again.
